Welcome to ACE Africa

boy sitting in chairACE Africa (Action in the Community Environment) is a non-profit organisation working in Kenya and Tanzania to reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS on the lives of the millions of Orphans and Vulnerable Children living in rural communities of East Africa.

To date, working through close to 3000 community volunteers, we have reached 300,000 children and people living with AIDS with a range of life-transforming services, across three key areas:

  • Building sustainable nutritional capacity and livelihoods
  • Building community ability to protect the health and rights of children affected/infected by HIV/AIDS
  • Providing psychosocial support and direct aid

ACE Africa is recognized as the leading NGO of its kind in Western Kenya and is the Kenya partner for the Duke University (USA), 5 year international research project, Positive Outcomes for Orphans (POFO).

ACE Africa has offices in Kenya, Tanzania, the UK and USA.

ACE Funding Sources

ACE Funding SourcesACE is funded by large donors such as Comic Relief and USAID, as well as a number of trusts, corporations, schools and private individuals. ACE's experienced and dedicated staff works at the household level enabling donor money to reach those in need.
