Ace Africa was thrilled to have the support of Dame Judi Dench fronting our BBC Radio 4 Appeal in September to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Dame Judi very kindly donated her time and effort in support of our programmes in East Africa, having come to know our work over the last few years.

The appeal was broadcast on Sunday 15th September and we are absolutely delighted to date that we have received £13,000 in donations from the generous public towards our programmes. If you didn’t get the chance to catch it please do listen here.

The appeal highlights the work of Ace’s Child to Child Health Clubs with orphans and vulnerable children in rural Kenya and Tanzania. We currently operate these clubs in over 200 schools across 4 project sites.

As Dame Judi pledges in the appeal;

  • £25 can buy tools for the kitchen garden
  • 60 of these donations would enable Ace to fund a new club
  • £1,500 would support and provide hope for 50 children who have had their lives shattered

How you can help
It’s never too late to support our Ace CtC Clubs so please consider supporting these vulnerable children at a level you can afford.
