ACE Africa holds events throughout the year in order to raise awareness of the work that we are doing and to raise money for our work. We would love for you to come and support ACE Africa at these events. Below is information about our recent and upcoming events. 2010 Events

Charity Quiz Evening (28th April 2010). Annual quiz night at the London Rowing Club in Putney. Attended by 100 guests. Another quiz night is likely to be organised in autumn, so watch this space for more news!

London 10k Run (11th July 2010). This year, nearly 100 ACE Africa supporters took part at the Asics London 10k run. We Are now taking enquiries for the London 10k Run 2011. Guaranteed fun day out! To find out more, please contact event@ace-africa.org, or call 0207 808 6293.

ACE Africa at Art London 2010 (7th-11th October 2010).This year ACE Africa has been selected as one of the chosen few charities to partake at the prestigious art fair Art London 2010. To find out more, please contact event@ace-africa.org, or call 0207 808 6293.

Cycle Kenya (8th -17th October 2010). The first of its kind, ACE Africa is running a unique fundraising challenge event which will see participants cycling across Western Kenya, from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha and Nakuru, Kericho, Kisumu, to ACE project areas and ending in Kakamega Forest Reserve. ACE of Trumps (10th November 2010). ACE Africa UK's fun, interactive team challenge event and dinner that will test your mental agility is taking place at the trendy Delfina restaurant. For details on how to join us for a superb evening please contact event@ace-africa.org

ACE Africa at HRW Antiques Art Exhibition (30th November - 4th December 2010). We are excited to be holding an art exhibition featuring the work of ACE Treasurer and Trustee Fran Howard as well as two other artists known for their African paintings - Sarah Elder and Julia Cassels. Mount Kilimanjaro Climb, 19th September 2009. UK Director Juliet Cockram led a group of brave trekkers up Mount Kilimanjaro in order to raise money for ACE Africa. Read the full report on the climb in the news section, and sign up for the 2010 Kilimanjaro climb

Cricket at the BritOval, 18th September 2009. The fourth ACE Six-a-Side Cricket Tournament at the Oval as a means of raising funds for ACE Africa's vital work, sponsored by Evolution Securities Ltd. ACE Africa'a Harambee in Chelsea, 11th June 2009. An evening of celebration and fundraising for ACE Africa, starring Lenny Henry. It is traditional in East Africa for friends and family to gather together to celebrate and raise funds at a Harambee, so ACE Africa held its own on the 11th June 2009, at The Conservatory at Chelsea, in the Royal Hospital Gardens in London. It a fantastic summers event, attended by a sell-out 411 people, including the Duchess of York, who introduced the evening, and James Lewis of the BBC's Flog It! as the official auctioneer. The evening raised over GBP50,000 for our work with orphaned, vulnerable children and communities affected by AIDS.

Charity Quiz Evening - Thursday 23rd April, London Rowing Club Embankment, Putney. In April of this year, ACE Africa and friends got together at a pub quiz evening in support of ACE Africa's work in Kenya and Tanzania. The evening raised approximately GBP4000.
