Kenya

Kenya has a total population of 36.2 million and the official national HIV adult prevalence rate is 5.1%, a reduction from 14% in 2002.

It is estimated in Kenya:

  • Over 2 million people have died due to HIV/AIDS
  • Over 1 million people are living with HIV/AIDS
  • Over 2 million children have been orphaned due to HIV/AIDS

There are 89 districts in Kenya, ACE Africa currently implements its programme in two rural districts:
