14 November 2013Notting Hill Prep raise over £6,860 for Ace Africa, supporting Mwruti Primary School, Kenya

CTC 134

We are delighted that Ace Africa is Notting Hill Prep School’s Charity of the Year for 2 years from September 2012-July 2014. We are hugely grateful for the children, teachers and parents support.

During 2013 the school have been a hive of activity, fundraising in a variety of ways for Ace Africa raising a fantastic £6,864.69. Notting Hill Prep have been supporting Mwriruti Primary School in Kenya. Through the Ace CtC Club 50 orphans and vulnerable children are being supported. The money raised is going towards computers, computer training, organic kitchen garden training and hygiene skills.

During the year our founders Joanna Waddington, Augustine Wasonga and Dennis Amonde have visited the school on separate occasions to update NHP about their support. During one assembly given by Joe, the children showed us the rural African footballs they’d created using newspaper and rubber bands. After the assembly Lizzy Epsley from Ace spent the morning with reception learning about life in rural Africa and creating a new display board for the school.

We would like to thank everyone from Notting Hill Prep in supporting Ace Africa!
