18 January 2016Students flourish with the support of Ace’s Alumni programme

Alumni Students

With the support of our loyal Bursary and Alumni sponsors, Ace continues to provide life-changing opportunities for children through providing them with a chance to secondary and university education in rural western Kenya.

Since 2007 the programme has supported 155 students in Bungoma with 57 going onto further study at university. In Siaya, out of the 49 Alumni, 23 went onto university and 8 to a college in the tertiary sector.

The photograph above shows Ace Africa’s Bungoma Project Manager, Chrispinus Shamwama (far right) alongside some of Ace’s Alumni students who are studying at the following universities. From far left this includes:

Ace are excited and proud to witness the growth and determination of these students and would like to take this opportunity to thank our devoted Bursary and Alumni supporters for your invaluable and continued support of underprivileged children living in rural Kenya. It is with your help that we are able to provide Kenya’s next generation with the tools to pursue and achieve lifelong dreams and goals.
