With the support of Comic Relief Ace Africa was able to officially open the Wellness Centre in Kenya this year. After the Ministry of Health inspected the land Ace acquired the perfect plot, directly adjacent to the existing administration office.

The health centre will serve truck drivers, their clients and their families, as well as itinerant populations on the major Trans-Africa highway at Kanduyi in Bungoma. By the end of the year, it will have served over 2,000 people. More than 200 trucks park in Kanduyi every night and condom distribution is essential and a major activity in the centre in prevention efforts against HIV/AIDS. So far over 30,000 condoms have been distributed, with personnel and drugs being provided by the Ministry of Health
