On November 14th 180 friends of Ace, old and new, came together at the beautiful Shoreditch Town Hall to raise an incredible £160,000.
Violinist Lettice Rowbotham and DJ Fenna kicked the night off. Our Patron and Michelin stared chef delivered amazing food and Charles Hanson, celebrity auctioneer, hosted the live auction. A total of 38 incredible live and silent auctions were sold thanks to very generous sponsors (and bidders).
Two of our founders, Anthony Okoki and Augustine Wasanga were joined on stage by our third, Joe Waddington, thanks to a pre-recorded video – a slipped disc meant she could not be with us. A film explained how Ace reached 300 people in its first year, but has how changed the lives of an incredible 1,579.319 people. Anthony and Augustine made personal appeals for support of Child to Child Clubs in Kenya and Tanzania next year, raising a fantastic £31,000.

We want to thank all the amazing individuals and companies who helped us to reach our total, which will ensure Ace is able to change even more lives in East Africa.
