We are proud to announce that Ace Africa is shortlisted for the 2015 Charity Times Award in the category of International Charity of the Year. This honour marks Ace’s outstanding work in championing excellence and improved professionalism in business management. The award recognises Ace’s commitment to the international development sector, quality programme management and overall dedication to rural communities in Kenya and Tanzania.

The Charity Times Awards continue to be the pre-eminent celebration of best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector. Now in their sixteenth year, the awards are run by Charity Times Magazine – the leading title for UK non-profit professionals. Last year’s event was attended by more than 700 of the sector’s finest. We are delighted to join an impressive charity community at the Awards Gala Dinner & Ceremony on the 7 October, where this year’s winners will be announced.

Publishing director Mark Evans said that the quality and volume of entries this year was impressive, and making the shortlist is an achievement in itself.

“This annual celebration places the spotlight on the hard work and achievements of the sector. Universally recognised as the pinnacle of success, the Charity Times Awards really are the measure of professionalism combined with passion. The record number of entries demonstrates that the sector is in good hands, and at a time when good news about charities seems in short supply winning this accolade not only recognises an outstanding contribution to the sector, but also demonstrates the sector’s vital contribution to society and we look forward to celebrating that in October.”
