Ace Africa was one of 17 charities selected to participate in BGC Partners’ 9th annual Charity Day taking place on Wednesday, September 11 2013. Our patron Andre Villas-Boas will trade on our behalf to raise funds for our programmes in Africa.
Every year, BGC Partners commemorates the658 employees who perished on September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center attacks by distributing 100% of global revenues from the Day. Revenues are managed by the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, which provides donations to the selected charities that participate in Charity Day, in addition to providing direct aid and support to humanitarian causes throughout the world. Through Charity Day, BGC helps others, turning the most difficult day of the year into one that is positive and uplifting.
This year Ace Africa was privileged to be one of the UK charities selected and we look forward to see our patron André Villas-Boas hiting the trading floor!
