Sunday 8th October saw 14 brave individuals take on the Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of Ace Africa. We were so impressed with every runner, from novice to expert old-timers, each one bounding over the finish line, with some personal bests smashed along the way.
Celebrating its 10th year, this 13.1 mile run winds through four of London’s most impressive Royal Parks – Hyde Park, Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens in all of their autumnal splendour. Over 16,000 runners descended upon west London this year to run for over 400 great causes.
Ace’s fastest runner, Joe Collenette, zoomed past the finish line at an incredible 1:40:51. Below are our top 6 Ace runners, all completing the race in under 2 hours. Congratulations to you all!

We are delighted that our current fundraising total stands at almost £7,000. All funds raised from this run will go towards our programmes across Kenya and Tanzania and we would like to say a special thank you to all of our runners who went above and beyond to help raise these important funds for Ace’s expanding programmes across rural Kenya and Tanzania.
