On Sunday 12th October 2014 we cheered on 14 amazing supporters of Ace Africa as they completed the gruelling 13.1 mile run around four of London’s most beautiful royal parks in aid of Ace Africa.
There was a brilliant race-day atmosphere, with over 16,000 runners joining in from various corners of the world to take part in the Royal Parks biggest race to date and thousands of spectators and supporters lining the streets of London. All of Ace’s runners completed the race in an impressive time, but in the lead with an amazing 1:30:11 was John De Winton, followed closely behind by Apoorv Chaturvedi at 1:34:36 and taking third place at a very speedy 1:36:02 was Ben Starke.
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of our Ace runners on the day and most importantly thank you from the many thousands of children and community members you have managed to help along the way.
If you would like to join in on one of London’s greatest Half Marathons next year and help to support Ace Africa to help communities and children throughout rural Tanzania and Kenya, then please do get in contact at event@ace-africa.org for more information.
